Karting is an incredible sport, capturing the hearts of enthusiasts and adrenaline seekers alike for decades. Recently, we ran a competition to win a full-blown Senior Rotax kart outfit with an alternative prize of £2,500 cash. We managed to catch-up with the lucky winner to discuss the win, how he found Karting Cave and what the cash went towards!
How did you first come across Karting Cave?
“I saw your posts advertising the competition in some of the karting Facebook groups,” – Thankyou Social Media! Remember we have both Facebook and Instagram accounts for Karting Cave. Join us on both for all our latest news, competitions and offers.
How many tickets did you purchase in the competition you won?
“We purchased 20 tickets for the Kart competition and never expected to win it!”
What’s your current involvement in Karting?
“My son Shaun currently races at our local tracks and I help to run him.”
Were you tempted to take the Kart over the cash?
“It was considered, yes. However, the cash was our preference. We already had a full set up and were looking to upgrade our chassis. We used the cash to pay for a 2023 rolling chassis.”
Would you recommend Karting Cave to friends?
“Yes, I would recommend Karting Cave. Some friends are now entering the competitions after seeing our success.”
